Our lives are marked by "rites": the process of getting a driver's license, getting a degree, even asking someone to marry you. There are things you do to prepare for a change in your life.

This is true even in the Chrisitan Church: there is a process, a means of preparation, to help you prepare for a change in your life.

What would that change be? Well, do you want peace? Joy? Something to believe in? An understanding of the challenges you have faced or are facing? Are you looking for community? For love and acceptance?

Here at St Thomas Parish and St John Student Parish we have found that following Jesus has answered many of the questions we have and the longing we have felt to be totally loved and accepted. We want to offer you the opportunity to have the many good things we have found in following Jesus.

This doesn't mean we don't still struggle or that we think we are perfect. Far from it! However being a part of a community helps us lean on and find inspiration in one another.
