A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world. Through special initiatives and in daily prayer, may an impassioned plea rise to God, the Creator and lover of life, from every Christian community, from every group and association, from every family and from the heart of every believer.
Pope Saint John Paul II
January 22 is the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and the day of penance established by the Church for abortion. January 22 has been formally named as the “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.” We are reminded time and again in Scripture to seek the Lord’s help, and as people of faith, we believe that our prayers are heard.
Come and pray at either church. Go to 6:30am Mass at STA or 12:15pm Mass at SJSC. Go to adoration at St. Thomas until 3:30pm. Consider fasting, or join the virtual 9-Days for Life Novena beginning January 21 at 9daysforlife.com. Raise a great prayer for life!
