Music Ministry

I am delighted to return to this wonderful faith community to serve as music director. I grew up in the Lansing Diocese and with my parents attended St. Mary Parish in Manchester and St. Patrick in Brighton. As a college student in Ann Arbor, I attended St. Mary Student Parish and St. Francis of Assisi Parish. By sophomore year I was serving as choir director at St. Mary Parish in Chelsea. After completing my Bachelor of Music Education Degree at U of M, I moved to South Bend, Indiana for Masters Degree study in Sacred Music at the University of Notre Dame and directed the Notre Dame Women's Liturgical Choir. In my most recent role as Director of Music of St. Ignatius Church on the campus of the University of San Francisco, I facilitated collaboration between the parish and campus ministry music teams.

I'm so happy to continue to work at a parish within a university community, and look forward to getting to know the staff, students, and parishioners of all ages at both St. Thomas and St. John Church and Student Center.
