Director of Campus Ministry
Katie grew up in Presque Isle County (up north!). She was active in campus ministry during undergrad and graduated from MSU in 2000 with a degree in Biology from Lyman Briggs College. She received a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame after two years as a volunteer chemistry teacher with the Alliance for Catholic Education. She received a Master of Science in Cell Biology from Yale University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton. She has led international mission trips and taught courses for study abroad programs for college students.
In addition to serving as the Director of Student Outreach for the last six years, she serves as the National Coordinator for the ESTEEM Leadership Program. This program is an initiative of the Leadership Roundtable on Church Management and is offered at twelve universities across the country to help prepare college seniors to transition into regular parish life.
